Tryouts
Tryouts will be held the first week of practice.
Tryouts are usually 1-3 days at the beginning of Winter season. Dancers will learn a short portion of the Varsity Kick and Jazz routines then perform these portions in front of a judging panel.
Dancers will learn in person before leaving that evening what their team placement is. We have Varsity and JV Kick teams as well as Varsity and JV Jazz teams. Dancers must participate in both Kick and Jazz styles regardless of their level placement.
All dancers including veterans must tryout for team placement. No dancer is guaranteed to receive the same team placement as the previous season.
Final placement decision will be up to the coaching staff and decisions may not be disputed.
